Howdy all you Blues Lovers. The Boys apologize for the long awaited update to web site front page.
We have been going through some changes personnel wise, and it has kept us very busy through the past two months.
After 7 and a half years, Dave Zajdel has left the band and will be missed. Thank you so much for all your hard work Dave, it was a great time gigging with you.
As we move on, we welcome Mike Sheffler, our new drummer. He has worked his ass off getting up to speed, and the results have been fantastic!
To recap the past two months, “THE BOYS” HAVE HAD SOME GREAT GIGS:
On July 2, we played the annual “Arts and Heritage Festival” held at Twin Lakes Park. The weather was beautiful, the food was great and all the bands that participated were smokin’! Thanks so much “Parks and Recreation” for having us!
Then it was on to the “Palace Theater” TGIS (THANK GOODNESS IT’S SUMMER) series held at the courtyard outside the theater. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t cooperating, so we moved inside to the main stage. “THE BOYS” JUMP AT ANY CHANCE TO PLAY THE MAIN STAGE! So many top name acts have played there
and being part of that history is an honor! The night went beautifully, and we cannot thank KELLI BRISBANE and all the great staff of the Palace enough, along with our fans who showed up to enjoy the show! Always is the best job we play every year! This was Mike’s first job with us and he rocked it.
On to August, “THE PALACE” INVITED US BACK ON SAT. AUGUST 27TH TO FINISH OFF THE SUMMER SERIES WITH
A SPECIAL NIGHT FEATURING THE TOP BANDS OF THE TGIS SERIES. IT IS FREE TO GET IN, WITH FOOD AND DRINK
AVAILABLE. AGAIN WE WILL BE ON THE MAIN STAGE!
Now that were all caught up, please look to the calendar for all the new dates coming up.
We can’t THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
AND AS ALWAYS “KEEP ON BLUSIN’
